Welcome to Keystone! We’ve spent a lot of time up here -whether it’s in the summer golfing, hiking, and enjoying the peace and quiet, or in the winter shredding some fresh
POW - these are our favorite spots. Consider this your insider guide for the weekend.
A couple things to know before you arrive: Keystone sits above 9,000 feet, so if you’re flying in from sea level, give yourself a day to adjust, drink plenty of water, and take it
easy on the alcohol your first night (yes, really). August days are warm and beautiful, but afternoons can bring quick thunderstorms and evenings cool off fast - layers are your friend.
Our favorite course in the mountains and our wedding venue! Keystone Ranch is a links-style course set in a historic ranch meadow - one of the best layouts in Summit County and absolutely worth a round if you play.
Our second favorite course in the mountains and host of our Friday morning golf outing! The River Course is a more traditional mountain layout with major elevation changes and tree-lined fairways. Scenic mountain views throughout the round.
A step up in challenge and scenery. Highly recommend if you’re a serious golfer.
Ride the gondola up and hike from the top. Easy, scenic, and no real elevation grind. Great option if you want fresh mountain air without committing to a serious hike.
An easy 1.8-mile trail winding through wildflower meadows and aspen forests with very little elevation gain. Right off Highway 6, close to River Run. Perfect for a casual morning out.
A short 0.6-mile trail ideal for all fitness levels, with a stunning backdrop of the mountains and Lake Dillon. Quick, easy, and the view at the top is worth it.
